About Dr. Ulm

Dr. Richard Ulm is a chiropractic physician, former elite athlete, and international educator specializing in rehab and performance. At Columbus Chiropractic & Rehabilitation Center, he blends clinical expertise with years of coaching and athletic experience to help athletes recover, move better, and perform at their best.


A former Olympic Trials hammer thrower, Dr. Ulm began coaching before shifting to chiropractic medicine to answer deeper questions about movement and injury. He has completed extensive training, including over 500 hours of continuing education and certification in Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS) and the McKenzie Method (MDT).


Through his Athlete Enhancement platform and work with Project Lift, Dr. Ulm teaches globally on biomechanics, Olympic lifting, and functional rehab. His approach bridges the gap between clinical care and athletic performance, helping coaches and clinicians optimize how athletes move, train, and recover.
