Well suited for focused work close to midline.
Used commonly for dynamic compression in this area. Static compression is less commonly used on the thoracic erectors.
- Commonly overstretched in the office desk population.
- Can be a problem due to decreased blood flow from chronic stretch
- T Tool work should be aimed at improving blood flow, not stretching.
Avoid pressing on the spinous processes or working too aggressively over the ribs on the lateral aspect of the ribcage.
